- Account information: Email address and user identifier when signing in with Google or Apple.
- Usage data: Session count, cards swiped, favorites saved, and cards viewed.
- Subscription status: Free, trial, or premium status.
- Uploaded content: Images you upload for personal deck covers, stored in your account.
- Analytics and diagnostics: Usage statistics and crash/error reports via PostHog.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App and its features
- Sync your saved questions and preferences across sessions
- Process and manage your subscription
- Improve the quality and relevance of our question content
- Monitor app performance and diagnose technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which provides industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Your favorites and session data are stored in your account in Firebase Firestore.
4. Third-Party Services
GetOurTime uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase — database and authentication.
- Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — login.
- Apple App Store — payment processing.
- PostHog — product analytics and crash reporting.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
When you request a refund through Apple, we may share information about your purchase and how you used the App — such as your account age and whether premium features were delivered and used — with Apple to help process your refund request.
5. Age Requirement
GetOurTime is intended for users aged 18 years and older. The App contains mature content including questions of a sexual and intimate nature. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not use this App. If we become aware that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete that information promptly.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information.
