These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GetOurTime mobile application ("App"), operated by GetOurTime ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use GetOurTime. The App contains mature content including questions of a sexual and intimate nature intended for adult couples. By using the App, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to terminate your access if we determine you do not meet this age requirement.

2. Description of the App

GetOurTime is a conversation card app designed for couples. It provides curated questions across a range of categories. Questions are intended to spark meaningful conversations between consenting adults.

3. User Accounts

An account is required to use GetOurTime. You sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

GetOurTime requires a subscription or one-time purchase for full access. Plans:

  • Monthly Premium: Full access, billed monthly.
  • Annual Premium: Full access, billed yearly, with a 3-day free trial. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.
  • Lifetime: Full access for a one-time payment.

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel through iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

If you subscribe and feel the App isn't helping you, email us at hello@getourtime.app and we'll help you request a full refund through Apple.

When you request a refund through Apple, we may share information about your purchase and how you used the App — such as your account age and whether premium features were delivered and used — with Apple to help process your refund request.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App if you are under 18 years of age
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App
  • Share your account credentials with others

6. Intellectual Property

All content in GetOurTime, including but not limited to questions, text, design, graphics, and software, is the property of GetOurTime and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the App without our prior written permission.

7. Content Disclaimer

The questions and prompts in GetOurTime are intended to facilitate conversation between consenting adults in a relationship. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind — including but not limited to relationship counseling, psychological, medical, or legal advice. Use of the App is at your own discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetOurTime shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction based on the circumstances of the dispute.

12. Apple App Store Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. To the extent that there is any conflict between Apple's terms and these Terms, Apple's terms will govern with respect to your use of the App Store.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
